ALI Logo Guidelines

The Automotive Lift Institute is proud to have served as the lift industry safety watchdog for 75 years. Through of our decades of dedicated service, the ALI logo has become recognized as a sign of quality when applied to a vehicle lift. Therefore, we take the use of our copyrighted and registered trademarks very seriously. Any ALI logo may only be used with ALI’s permission in accordance with the following guidelines. ALI reserves the right to take whatever actions it considers necessary to protect and defend its intellectual property and to prevent the misuse of its valuable marks.

ALI Corporate Logos

This is the corporate mark of ALI. No authorized use in any manner other than with express written permission from the Automotive Lift Institute. ALI-produced stickers featuring this logo may be applied to toolboxes, drag racing cars and other marketing uses that do not include application on lifts or lift-related business materials, unless expressly authorized by ALI.

ALI 75th Anniversary Logo

No authorized use in any manner other than with express written permission from the Automotive Lift Institute – used during the year 2020

Authorized to be used during the year 2020 by all ALI Member and Associate Class Member companies only. May not be modified in any way other than scaling. Full-color and black-and-white versions available. Must retain registered trademark symbol.

ALI Member Logo

Authorized to be used by ALI Member Manufacturers only. May not be modified in any way other than scaling. Must retain registered trademark symbol.

ALI Validated (Certified) Mark

Authorized to be used by any companies that produce an ALI Certified Lift. This mark must be presented with the ALI Certified Lift model number in proximity. Use of the term “ALI Certified” must also be in conjunction with an ALI Certified Lift model number. Mark may not stand alone without a lift model number. Must retain registered trademark symbol.

ALI Associate Class Member Logo

Authorized to be used by ALI Associate Class Member companies only. Must retain registered trademark symbol.

ALI Certified Lift Inspector Mark

Authorized to be used by companies with at least one ALI Certified Lift Inspector on staff. This mark must be presented with the inspector’s unique 4-digit ID number in proximity. Use of the term “ALI Certified” must also be in conjunction with an ALI Certified Lift Inspector’s unique 4-digit ID number.
